Established in the late 1920s, (1927 to be exact.),by the Clever family, Alta Greenhouse has been in continuance operation for over 80 years.  Currently, owned and operated by Roger Henry  since 1989.  With an acre under cover and five acres available for production, Alta offers customers the best in Annuals, Perennials, Vegetables, Shrubs, and Water Gardening plants.

Unlike the large box stores, Alta’s gift and pottery selection is handpicked from a vast array of sources.  We’ve compared manufactures and suppliers to bring you interesting, outstanding selections.

Our new line of environmentally friendly Beanpod Candles, are made from 100% stabilized soy wax, no paraffin is used.  These beautifully colored, fragrant candles burn longer, with no soot emissions.
